The accolade, decided by public votes, follows Redtooth winning the Best Entertainment Supplier award at the Oscars of the pub industry – the Publican suppliers’ awards. This makes Redtooth the only company to have received an award from the pub industry and now the poker industry.

Martin Green, managing director at Redtooth Poker, said: “We are delighted to win this award. It’s a fantastic achievement by everyone connected to Redtooth. Over the last couple of years we have won the pub industry award for poker and now the poker industry’s award, which is an incredible double for us.”

Redtooth Poker is the UK’s largest live pub poker league with more than 1,000 venues and 150,000 players registered with the event since it was launched in 2007. The league’s annual Vegas 100 competition offers the country’s top 100 amateur pub poker players the chance to win a trip to Las Vegas, USA.

Martin added: “With so many Redtooth Poker leagues taking place in pubs up and down the country we rely on the support of many volunteers to work alongside our team to organise the games week in, week out. This accolade is a thank you to all those individuals.

“Vegas 100 is growing from strength to strength and we are thrilled that this award has been voted for by the general public who have shown great support to us in recent years.”

Redtooth employs 20 people at its headquarters and a further 20 people across the UK and abroad. The business is the sponsor of Sheffield United’s academy.
