Batemans Brewery Pubs Flushed With Success!
BATEMANS BREWERY PUBS FLUSHED WITH SUCCESS AFTER LATEST POKER TOURNAMENT
Batemans, the independent Lincolnshire-based brewery and retailer, has played a great hand with its poker nights seeing the game take pubs by storm as the new team sport.
The Brewery recently hosted its second inter-pub Poker tournament finals which was won by defending champion: Alan Powell of the Napoleon pub, Fishtoft Road, Boston – who took home a cheque for £200 as well as the trophy.

The tournament, sponsored by Heineken UK, was played over six months with over 20 pub teams and 125 individual players, competing for the prize of Batemans 2010 Poker Champion title.
Second place was taken by Fraser Parker of the Royal Oak, Mareham le Fen who won £100 prize money and in third place was Katie Dickson, landlady of the Five Bells at Butterwick who collected £50.
The finals event was organised by in-pub entertainment experts Redtooth (www.redtooth.co.uk).
